NMED's Email (Newsletter) Listserv Program
The New Mexico Environment Department recently integrated an Email Listserv program into its public web site (http://www.nmenv.state.nm.us), which allows web site visitors to easily subscribe to an email (mailing) list, or Newsletter, by clicking on a "Subscribe to Email Alerts" button like the one below.
The type of NMED Newsletter you will be asked to subscribe to is dependent on which page you find the button at in our web site. For example, clicking this button when viewing the Food Program section will provide a subscription form, or choice of forms, related to NMED Food Program activities.
Subscribing to an NMED Email (mailing list) Newsletter is completely voluntary. It's easy to subscribe (enroll). Your email is kept strictly confidential. And it's easy to unsubscribe (un-enroll) yourself from any NMED Newsletter.

Please note: Email providers often use SPAM filters to stop junk mail or unsolicited bulk email. NMED is in the process of reviewing it's standards in order to increase the effectiveness of our email listserv program. If you subscribe to an NMED Newsletter (mailing list), you should receive a confirmation email. If you don't, check your Junk Email or SPAM folder and make sure a SPAM filtering program isn't blocking our email to you.
If you are on an NMED Newsletter (Email) List and you are not receiving emails (periodically - once every 2 months is the minimum), check with your email provider to make sure that YOUR email system is not blocking our email newsletter. You may contact the NMED Webmaster to verify your email on the system. The NMED Webmaster will also provide you with further instructions, so that any communication issues may be remedied.
