The New Mexico State Environment Department\u2019s Air Quality Bureau (the Bureau) is conducting air Emissions Inventory, excluding facilities in Bernalillo County and on Tribal Lands. This inventory applies to all major and non-major sources with air quality construction permits (20.2.72 NMAC or 20.2.74 NMAC) or operating permits (20.2.70 NMAC), including General Construction Permits (GCP) and sources with Notices of Intent (NOI) (20.2.73.200 NMAC) that meet the requirements in 20.2.73.300.C NMAC listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Actual annual emissions of pollutants in the year 2025 can be reported to the Bureau starting January 1 of 2026 and are due by April 1 of 2026. Actual emissions are required to be submitted using the online reporting tool, AEIR<\/strong><\/a>, provided by the Bureau. The Emission Inventory information can be found in the 2025 Emission Inventory Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2025 Emissions Inventory Training Sessions have concluded. Please refer to the instruction documents and videos below or contact<\/a> us with questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Emission inventory may be submitted to AEIR by manually entering information or by uploading a specially formatted XML file.
