                          Quarterly report deadlines <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                          Quarterly reports track fuel activity throughout the compliance period. They summarize\u00a0transaction-level\u00a0fuel data, including the fuel pathway code, fuel quantity, Energy Economy Ratio (EER) (if applicable), counterparties and other required transaction details. ARCS calculates credits or deficits based on the data reported.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          The Quarterly Fuel Reporting (QFR) module is available in ARCS.<\/strong> Estimated credits and deficits are visible as users complete reporting, but deficits must only be balanced each compliance period, not each quarter.<\/strong> Below are QFR deadlines for the first CTFP compliance period, which is longer than subsequent yearly compliance periods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        Annual compliance report<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                        Annual reports demonstrate program compliance. They summarize total credits and\/or deficits generated, carried over, acquired, sold, and retired to comply with the applicable carbon intensity standard.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        Deficit generating parties must balance accounts for each annual compliance period<\/strong> to fulfill program requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        Deficit holders balancing accounts with credit purchases for a given compliance period may purchase credits to satisfy compliance after the end of the period (December 31), but must report these trades before the date their annual compliance report is due.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        • First compliance period: April 1, 2026 – December 31, 2027<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                        • First annual compliance report due (for longer first compliance period): April 30, 2028<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                        • Subsequent compliance reports due yearly by April 30.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                                          Additional annual report for residential EV charging credits (if applicable)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                          Beginning January 1, 2028, electricity distribution utilities and eligible vehicle manufacturers that receive residential EV charging credits must submit a separate annual report by July 1 describing how they used credit revenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
