NEW CERTIFICATION SYSTEM –<\/strong> The Utility Operator Certification Program\u2019s (UOCP) new Certemy Database System is coming soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Utility Professional,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re pleased to announce a new software system, Certemy. This tool will be available to Utility Professionals as a convenient on-line system that is user friendly to maintain your operator profile and certifications.<\/strong>  This is a self-serve online database for operators for both submitting exam applications, certification renewals and training credits. The Go LIVE date is set for June 4, 2024.<\/strong>

What will the new system let you do?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Certemy Database will allow Utility Professionals to Create and manage professional\/personal profiles, submit, or update your contact information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utility Professionals will be able to request, complete and submit certification exam applications as well as complete and manage renewal certifications. Utility Professionals can complete their certification renewal online, via computer or phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Utility Professionals will also be able to upload and manage their training credit documents. With Certemy, you can pay your exam or renewal fee online and upload proof of payment confirmation receipt. The Professional will receive email reminders that keep you on time and on task, so you never forget something as well as receive email alerts when we have reviewed and approved your exam and renewal submissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding for this project was provided by the Legislature through the General Appropriations Act of 2022.  The funding was used to procure services that update and automate services to expand support to utility operators in a phased approach. The first phase implemented computer-based examinations for utility operators, which expanded the number of testing opportunities and locations. The second phase was to replace the failing database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When can you start using the new system?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We currently expect the new system to go live on Tuesday<\/strong>, June 4, 2024<\/strong>. Please visit the UOCP website for potential updates.

Asunto<\/strong>: NUEVO SISTEMA DE CERTIFICACI\u00d3N. Viene pronto un nuevo sistema de base de datos conocido como “New Certemy Database System” del Programa de Certificaci\u00f3n de Operadores de Servicios P\u00fablicos (UOCP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nos complace anunciar un nuevo sistema inform\u00e1tico, Certemy. Esta herramienta estar\u00e1 disponible para los profesionales de los servicios p\u00fablicos para mantener sus credenciales y certificaciones.  Es un sistema en Internet intuitivo y f\u00e1cil de usar.<\/strong>  Se trata de una base de datos en Internet de autoayuda para que los operadores presenten sus solicitudes de examen, renueven su certificaci\u00f3n, obtengan cr\u00e9ditos de capacitaci\u00f3n, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 le permitir\u00e1 hacer el nuevo sistema?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La nueva base de datos Certemy permitir\u00e1 a los profesionales de los servicios p\u00fablicos crear y manejar perfiles profesionales\/personales e enviar o actualizar su informaci\u00f3n de contacto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Podr\u00e1n pedir, completar y presentar solicitudes de examen de certificaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como completar y manejar las certificaciones de renovaci\u00f3n. Se puede renovar su certificaci\u00f3n por Internet, sea por computadora o por tel\u00e9fono, 24 horas al d\u00eda, 7 d\u00edas a la semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n podr\u00e1n subir y manejar sus documentos de cr\u00e9ditos de capacitaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con Certemy, puede pagar su importe de examen o renovaci\u00f3n por Internet – y subir el comprobante de la confirmaci\u00f3n del pago. Recibir\u00e1 recordatorios por correo electr\u00f3nico que le mantendr\u00e1n puntual y al d\u00eda, para que nunca olvide nada, as\u00ed como alertas por correo electr\u00f3nico cuando hayamos revisado y aprobado sus entregas de ex\u00e1menes y renovaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La financiaci\u00f3n de este proyecto fue proporcionada por la Legislatura a trav\u00e9s de la Ley de Asignaciones Generales de 2022.  La financiaci\u00f3n se utiliz\u00f3 para adquirir servicios que actualizan y automatizan los servicios con el fin de ampliar el apoyo a los operadores de servicios p\u00fablicos siguiendo un sistema escalonado. En la primera fase se implementaron ex\u00e1menes computarizados para operadores de servicios p\u00fablicos, lo que ampli\u00f3 el n\u00famero de oportunidades y lugares de examen. La segunda fase consisti\u00f3 en sustituir la base de datos deficiente. Fecha de lanzamiento: 4 de junio de 2024<\/strong>. Nuestra actual base de datos “Certman” dejar\u00e1 de funcionar al final del d\u00eda del lunes 20 de mayo de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo puede empezar a utilizar el nuevo sistema?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente esperamos que el nuevo sistema entre en funcionamiento el martes 4 de junio de 2024<\/strong>. Visite el sitio web de la UOCP para posibles actualizaciones.
