NMED works with industry and educational institutions to connect experienced individuals with current job openings and develop workforce training programs for those with minimal or no experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:24px\">New Mexico Environmental Pilot Job Training Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">NMED is partnering with employers across New Mexico and collaborating with San Juan College to advance uranium cleanup through education, certification programs, and micro-credentials. The first pilot program, the Careers Remediating Environmental Waste (CREW) program, is a multi-week pilot training program aimed to equip workers with the skills necessary to jump start a career in environmental cleanup work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">A number of potential funding opportunities and support services are available to ensure student success.
