You can report such issues using the forms below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you see a public health or environmental issue that may immediately threaten human health or the environment, call 911. Then call our environmental emergency line at 505-827-9329. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class='nmenv_accordion'><div class='nmenv_accordion_item level_0'><div class='nmenv_accordion_item_title'><i class='fas fa-chevron-right' aria-hidden='true'><\/i><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Health or Environmental Tips and Complaints<\/h2><\/div><div class='nmenv_accordion_item_body'>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the form below to report what appears to you as a possible concern or violation of a license, permit or rule. Information you submit is forwarded to our enforcement personnel or to the appropriate regulatory authority.\u00a0You can also report suspected violations at 800-219-6157. A complaint can be generated by employees or an employee representative by requesting an inspection if they believe unsafe or unhealthful conditions exist in their workplace. If you would like to report hazards at your work site to New Mexico OSHA, choose one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call 505-476-8700. Ask for the compliance officer on duty to discuss your complaint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email all pertinent information to <a href=\"mailto:Complaints.OSHA@state.nm.us\">Complaints.OSHA@state.nm.us<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your complaint through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/pls\/osha7\/eComplaintForm.html\">federal online complaint form<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to file a complaint or a referral, the complainant must provide the entity\u2019s name, location and description of the problem. The following information is also useful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The telephone number of the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The name of the manager or individual in charge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Act gives employees the right to file complaints about workplace safety and health hazards. Further, the Act gives you the right to anonymity. You are not obligated to give information such as your name, address, and phone number. We do not reveal or discuss this information with anyone.
