Clean-up of Jet Fuel Spill in Albuquerque – Public Meeting Tonight
Hosted by State Environment Dept. & Kirtland Air Force Base
Albuquerque – Tonight the New Mexico Environment Department and Kirtland Air Force Base present updates on the clean-up of the Kirtland jet fuel spill with an extended question and answer session. The meeting will include a preliminary poster presentation conducted by Advanced Placement students at Highland High School who have been studying the spill’s effects.
Who: Representatives from NMED, KAFB, the Water Utility Authority, and the City of Albuquerque will be available to address community concerns and provide specifics on the project’s clean-up status.
