Timely document submission

To allow for the continued timely review of submittals, the Petroleum Storage Tank Bureau is encouraging its customers to submit documents electronically to PSTB.Inbox@state.nm.us. In addition to submitting documents electronically, notarized documents and paper copies explicitly required by the regulations must continue to be submitted via mail. Note: Notarization can be done by video as outlined in Governor Lujan Grisham’s Executive Order 2020-039 (or use or copy and paste this link into your browser: https://www.governor.state.nm.us/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/COVID-Executive-Order-2020-039.pdf).

For documents too large to be transmitted by e-mail, please send a link to a cloud-based drive where staff may access the document.

Delivery prohibition

The Bureau maintains a list of facilities that are currently designated as ineligible for delivery, deposit, or acceptance of fuel here.

Report a Leak or Spill

Tank owners and operators: report a leak or spill from a petroleum storage tank within 24 hours here. This includes for suspected leaks and spills.
