To see some of the WIPP Program activities please go to the following links:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"\/rcb\/wipp-progam-activities\/\">Homeland Security Initiatives<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"\/rcb\/wipp-emergency-preparedness\/\">Emergency Response Training &amp; Exercises<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What This Program is Abou<\/strong>t<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WIPP Emergency Response Training Program works in conjunction with the following agencies to provide emergency response training to prepare New Mexico communities to respond to hazardous materials transportation accidents, including those involving shipments to the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     Environment Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     Department of Public Safety (DPS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     Department of Health<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     State Fire Marshall\u2019s Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     Highway and Transportation Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program assists by providing that portion pertaining to radiation fundamentals and radiation protection response.
