EPA and NMED Informal Resolution Agreement No. 09R-02-R6: Public Participation, Limited English Proficiency, and Non-Employee Disability Policies

On January 19, 2017, the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) entered into an Informal Resolution Agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to resolve a civil rights compliant that had been filed with EPA against NMED in 2002 (No. 09R-02-R6). As part of the Informal Resolution Agreement, NMED has instituted, and will be implementing, the following policies, which have been approved by EPA:
