American Society of Safety Professionals Development Conference

The  New Mexico Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (NM ASSE) and New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau have an alliance with a goal of providing employees and employers with guidance and access to information and training resources aimed to protect employees. The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) presents the 43rd Annual Professional Development Conference. This is a two-day event having instructional tracks with 3 technical sessions and vendor expositions.

Keynote Speakers:

Mr. Ronald Beaulieu: The President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Freshwater Foundation working with projects that utilize flooding in the Mississippi River and direct the water to the Colorado River.

Dr. Frank Etscorn: A New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology professor who was the first patent holder for the nicotine patch.
