Cannabis Edible Program

Cannabis Edibles Program Rule – If you plan to obtain a permit to manufacture cannabis edibles, this is the applicable rule.  Chapter 11 constitutes the requirements that a cannabis edible manufacturer must meet.

Hemp Program

Hemp Program Rule – If you plan to obtain a permit to extract hemp, manufacture hemp and/or hemp finished products, or warehouse hemp extract, this is the applicable rule.  Requirements for each type of operation are located throughout the rule.

Hemp Manufacturing Act – If you plan to obtain a permit to extract hemp, manufacture hemp and/or hemp finished products, or warehouse hemp extract, this is the applicable state statute.  This statute outlines the legal basis and requirements to operate a hemp facility in New Mexico.

Cannabis Edible and Hemp Programs

The following statutes apply to all cannabis edible manufacturers in NMED – CHB jurisdiction.  Portions of these statutes also apply to hemp facilities, as outlined in the “Hemp Program Rule” and “Hemp Manufacturing Act” above.
