Executive Summary: 
The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) petitioned the Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC)  to consider amendments to the Standards for Interstate and Intrastate Surface Waters, 20.6.4 NMAC.  The Commission granted and held the hearing  for matter 11-05 (R) on April 10, 2012.  The WQCC  approved the amendments which created 19 new classified segments for 62 lakes that had been previously classified with streams or were unclassified.
