Due to an increase in the number of applications received for operator certification exams, all exam sessions are limited to a MAXIMUM of 200 EXAMINEES.

Once an exam session is full and closed, the following notifications will take place:

  • Full sessions will be noted and highlighted on this posted schedule.
  • A full session notice will be posted on the UOCP website under the “Announcements” tab.
  • Anyone with an application approved after a session has been closed will be notified of approval to test at the next available session without submitting another application.
  • Exam sessions will be filled on a first come first served basis. We encouraged you to submit exam applications early.
  •  Also:
    • Completed exam applications should be submitted to the Utility Operator Certification Program as soon as possible, but must be postmarked on or before the examination deadline dates noted below in the Exam Schedule.

*IMPORTANT Note – BEFORE you can proceed with your online payment, a UOCP staff member will send to you an email notification confirming the Exam details and the Fees Due. As soon as you receive this email notification, your Fees must be paid within 3-days OR your application will be rejected.

Please note, all results for exam scores will be mailed out to the operator address on file and will be made available online on the Operator Look-up. No results will be given over the phone or by email. Exam results are expected to be completed by UOCP within 2-3 weeks from the exam date.
