Executive Summary: The purpose and reasoning for the UAA was based on the following:
- Separately classify Nichols and McClure Reservoirs.
- Create a new classified segment for the Santa Fe river from the Footbridge at Frenchy’s field to Nichols reservoir.
- Based on an attainability analysis, determine the highest attainable use for reaches of the Santa Fe river from the wastewater treatment facility to Nichols reservoir, and create a new classified segment for the Santa Fe river from the wastewater treatment facility to Frenchy’s field.
- Update designated uses and criteria for the Santa Fe river from Cochiti Pueblo to the Santa Fe wastewater treatment facility.
